[edit] Start background sound added to a frame after 2-3 second delay
Just to give you a go ahead, here is a quick overview of a possible workaround. Before you proceed, please turn off Random Effects on your account by following this KB article:

OK, here's how to do. You need to have to add two "empty" text objects to your frame. If you're not able to leave it empty, then use input period (.) and set the Font Size to 1 so it is visible the least. Set the first text object to load at the same time as the frame (use Timing (Experts Only) option under the Advanced tab on the Left Panel). Create a blank sound file - if you're using Windows, this is pretty simple. Simply right-click inside any folder, and select New -> Wave Sound option. This will create a blank WAV file. Upload this file into your Toufee account. Once uploaded, press the SHIFT key, drag and drop the audio file over the first Text object. Set the timing of the first Text object to 2 or 3 seconds (or however long you want to add the pause before the actual background audio starts to play). Now add the second Text object (empty or with a single period to font size 1 such that its invisible). Add the background sound of the frame to this Text object and set its timing such that it unloads with the frame. That should do the trick.
Since you have to deal with timing options quite a bit, the following articles on timing should help:

If you get stuck anywhere give me a shout and I'll be more than happy to help. In the meantime, I am working on the blog article for the same so that I could illustrate better with some screenshots.
